Location: This is a remote/site-based role with the ability to travel and be located at project sites across the U.S. (many projects in Texas).
● Participate within a culture of safety for all team members, complying with Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Lock out tag out (LOTO) programs, maintaining zero recordable injuries.
● Perform basic installation verification (cable terminations, grounding checks, insulation testing, equipment inspection).
● Assist with battery and component testing, balance-of-plant (BOP) checks, auxiliary system testing and general site labor.
● Support engineers and senior technicians in commissioning procedures.
● Ensure tools and equipment are available and in working condition.
● Document and report any field issues to senior technicians and engineers.
● Follow instructions from senior technicians, grow and develop into a more senior technician.
Requirements
● Entry-level knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
● Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical documents.
● Technical certificate, apprenticeship, or hands-on experience in electrical systems.
● Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
● Safety certifications (OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, First Aid, CPR, AED) preferred.
