This role exists to keep our founder-led culture alive and sharp, drive forward an ambitious and aligned team, and ensure HR is organized, compliant, and a value-creator rather than a cost center.
You will design and implement systems that make us more effective as we double in size, ensuring we scale without bureaucracy. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver mission-critical projects while fostering a workplace defined by low conflict, high trust, and high performance.
Requirements
Build and own a comprehensive HR operations playbook (SOPs, processes, compliance) that scales with growth.
Design a recruiting engine that consistently identifies, attracts, and closes top-tier talent.
Ensure the talent pipeline grows rapidly while maintaining employee satisfaction and cultural alignment.
Create and manage compensation, performance, and rewards systems that drive results and reinforce culture.
Identify and address mediocrity quickly, ensuring top talent is recognized and retained.
Manage compliance, risk, and liabilities across jurisdictions while keeping the organization agile.
Be a steward of culture: protect and strengthen a “high ambition, low drama” environment as the company grows.
Qualifications
Proven success leading HR in high-growth companies, ideally scaling from ~100 to 300+ employees.
Experience managing HR operations across multiple geographies (US + LATAM preferred).
Strong recruiting and talent evaluation instincts — you know how to spot A-players.
Business acumen and judgment to balance risk, compliance, and growth.
Bonus: direct experience in energy technologies, independent power producers, or critical infrastructure.
